Never Mind

Remember how horrible outsourcing was going to be? Our Democrat friends predicted that America's middle class would be forced to toil behind the grills at McDonalds and software engineers would be competing for lawn care jobs with Mexican immigrants. I personally was chastised publicly by my ever uninformed New York Times reading aunt for having an international outsourcing business.

Well, now it seems the outsourcing scare has gone the way of Y2K and global cooling. In other words, looks like we dodged that proverbial bullet. Turns out it was as much campaign scare as anything else.

Maybe we should go back and investigate some of the solutions that government was going to provide for this mystical threat. No, maybe not. It would be too depressing.
