Delete me

OK, two day after Windows Vista comes out a new vulnerability is discovered. But this one is great. Turns out Vista has a speech recognition feature that is good enough to take instructions from people who might want to do you wrong... by talking to your computer!

In other works, say I'm on a video conference with a friend in Hong Kong. I step away from my computer to get a cup of coffee and he says, "Delete all files - XYZ Company." I come back to my desk and zip, all my XYZ company files are kaput.

I'll need to see more on this before I totally believe it. But there are enough reports out there today to make me want to follow this. Not that I'm getting Vista anytime soon. But when I do, the new computer I'm building will definitely be set up so that I can talk to it. So I'm staying on top of this.
